Elvia Thompson, longtime president and cofounder of Annapolis Green, is retiring after 15 years

Elvia Thompson announced Thursday that she was stepping back from day-to-day operations of environmental nonprofit Annapolis Green. Lynne Forsman, her cofounder, will stay with the organization. Maggie Hughes, a project manager, will be elevated to executive director.
