SpaceX plans to send its first manned mission to Mars by 2025 or 2026 at the latest. It’s a mission that could pave the way for the colonization of the planet.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk sat down with Peter Diamandis, founder of the X Prize Foundation, in a video interview on April 22. Musk told Diamandis he believes humanity occupying multiple planets is the future. Though he also acknowledged that a “a bunch of people will probably die” in the beginning of Mars exploration.
