Elmira College to present ‘Charlie Brown’ musical

Elmira College Theatre will close the 2020-21 academic year with the musical “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” at 8 p.m. May 28-29 in Gibson Theatre at the college, One Park Place, Elmira.
Charles Schulz's comic strip comes to life in this Broadway musical, in which the “Peanuts” gang battle with kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally realizing what makes them happy.
The book, music and lyrics are by Clark Gesner with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The show is suitable for general audiences, ages 8 and older.
