Ellie French joined NewsWatch 7’s sports team in September 2021 after spending the previous two years as a sports anchor/reporter at WTOK in Meridian, Mississippi. Her last week on the job in Mississippi was spent at Dudy Noble field covering Mississippi state baseball’s win over Notre Dame in the super regionals, which sent the bulldogs to the College World Series.
