Damage to Elkford COVID Signs
On April 27, Elk Valley RCMP learned that in the past few weeks, there has been approximately 20 paper laminated COVID-19 signs ripped down and burned or damaged in parks, playgrounds and ball diamonds in and around Elkford.
RCMP are appealing to the public for any information regarding this incident. Please contact the Elk Valley RCMP at 250-425-6233 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Break and Enter into residence with family at home
On April 29, Elk Valley RCMP received a report that a home was broken into and various items were stolen, including the family vehicle. During this brazen crime, the homeowners were home.  The suspect(s), while backing out of the driveway, put the vehicle into the ditch and left it there.
