On Saturday, June 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., residents of DeKalb and Sycamore Townships are invited to a convenient “drive-thru & drop-off” electronic recycling event. The event will be co-hosted by the DeKalb and Sycamore Townships and will be held at Sycamore High School, located at 427 Spartan Trail in Sycamore. <br/><br/>The following items may be recycled at no cost to DeKalb and Sycamore Township residents: computers, non-CRT monitors, laptops, servers, UPS batteries, printers, keyboards, mice, hard drives, circuit boards, wires/cables, stereos, VCRs, DVD players, power tools, telephones, appliances, and metal.<br/><br/>TVs and CRT monitors will be accepted but there will be a charge of $20 per TV and $10 per CRT monitor. Payment methods accepted will include cash or check.<br/><br/>The following items are not eligible for collection at this event: household batteries, any items containing Freon, and lightbulbs.<br/><br/>Participants are asked to bring a valid ID to show DeKalb or Sycamore Township residency.
