Elderly couple airlifted to safety from mudflats off Karumba, QLD, by Mt Isa RACQ rescue helicopter

A couple in their 70s have escaped uninjured after being rescued by helicopter from treacherous mud flats off the Gulf of Carpentaria on Thursday.
