Grant funding of $15,000 will support the work of nonprofits in the Southwest region. El Pomar Trustees approved grant allocations to five nonprofit organizations in the Southwest region at the Foundation’s February Trustees meeting. Through the Foundation’s grant making process, the following organizations were awarded grants:
Imaginary Friends Productions of Durango – $2,500 in general operating support; competitive.Montezuma County Historical Society, Inc. of Cortez – $2,500 for construction of Montezuma Heritage Museum; Trustee regional merit.Mancos Valley Resources – $2,500 in general operating support; competitive.OMNI Institute of Denver – $2,500 for leadership practicum in Durango; Trustee regional merit.San Juan Symphony of Durango – $5,000 in general operating support; competitive.To view a full listing of El Pomar’s funds and grant making areas, visit www.elpomar.org/grant-making.
