The Lone Star State’s economic prowess is no secret. Texas leads the nation in exports and economic development, and just recently, Texas was named the best state for business for the 17th year in a row. But not even the mighty Texas economy was exempt from the damage caused by the global pandemic. Across the United States and around the world, economies were brought to a standstill when COVID-19 first struck. However, with the perseverance of Texans in communities like El Paso and the steady leadership of Gov. Greg Abbott, El Paso and the entire state of Texas are already on a path toward a major comeback.
