Eight people assaulting Delhi Police head constable goes viral; accused arrested

The video of the alleged assault has gone viral after the incident circulated on social media.

New Delhi: After a video went viral on social media, the city police nabbed eight people including two women for allegedly assaulting a head constable of the Delhi Police on Thursday. According to a senior police officer that a couple had assaulted her. The suspects were identified as Rekha Devi (46), Binita (30), Mohan Jha (55), Vikash Jha (24), Pappu Jha (32), Manish Jha (28), Aakash Kumar Jha (20), and Dhanander Pratap Singh (20), according to the police. 
The alleged assault incident which took place on April 1 in the Uttam Nagar area, a video clip of the assault went viral on social media.
