Either way, people celebrate such days with fervour. Now, on the auspicious of Eid-ul-Fitr, Bollywood celebrities are taking to their respective social media handles to wish fans. But along with wishing Eid Mubarak, stars also stressed the importance of taking precautions while celebrating the festival safely amid the pandemic. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan shared their wishes for Eid on Twitter. While Abhishek urged all to stay home and stay safe, Big B shared his wish with a beautiful image that read Eid Mubarak. Akshay Kumar wished Eid and wrote, '#EidMubarak to all. May God grant good health and peace, and ease the suffering of everyone across the world.' Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, '#EidMubarak to all.... lots of love and light to everyone.' Actor Varun Dhawan posted his picture in a white T-shirt and wished the fans Eid Mubarak with the caption, 'FAST n UP, Health first India first.' Taking to Instagram, Sushmita Sen wished her fans with a long post, which read, 'May this auspicious day usher in better times, filled with love, healing, good health & peace. Thank you sooooooo much, for including all of us in your prayers...through the fasting!! And for helping humanity through these difficult times with the graceful contribution of your Zakat.' Manoj Bajpayee extended wishes with the message 'stay safe and healthy' on Twitter. Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram account and posted a happy family photo with his wife and daughter and wished his fans. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor wished fans a Happy Eid with a beautiful poem about finding strength in dark times. The actor wrote, 'For the praying and the ones who can't anymore. For the ones who need prayers a little more than most others in these tough times. For whom there is none left to pray for or with. This Eid, we do. For all of you.' Eid-ul-Fitr or 'sweet festival' is celebrated to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn to dust.
