Effective Implementation Of POSH Act: SC orders appointment of district officers in every state

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Principal Secretaries of the Ministry of Women and Child Development of all states to ensure appointment of an officer in every district within four weeks to oversee effective implementation of the Sexual Harassment at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act.
The POSH Act is a legislation enacted by the Government of India
