Fresh talent from I Hate Suzie, The Real Eastenders and McDonald & Dodds recognised
Creatives from I Hate Suzie, McDonald & Dodds and River City have been shortlisted for this year’s Edinburgh TV Foundation New Voice Awards.
Georgi Banks-Davies, who directed Sky original I Hate Suzie, is up for the Victor Adebodun debut director award and faces competition from the likes of McDonald & Dodds’ (ITV) Laura Scrivano, The Real EastEnders’ (Channel 4) Ashley Francis-Roy and Catch Her If You Can’s (BBC3) Ben Bryant.
Meanwhile, a crop of debut writers including River City’s (BBC1 Scotland) Ali Taylor and Little Birds’ (Sky Atlantic) Sophia Al-Maria will battle it out in the debut writer category.
