Easy Car Sales on Gladstone Road.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS — There are over 200 electric vehicles (EV) being driven locally, a well-known EV dealer has estimated, predicting that that number will likely double this year and grow exponentially thereafter.
Pia Farmer, owner of Easy Car Sales, who addressed the recent Bahamas Business Outlook, said: “We are witnessing one of the greatest technological revolutions in transportation since the invention of the combustion engine 140 years ago”.
She added: “Over 10 million plug-in cars are expected on the global roads in 2020, and analysts predict that by 2040, more than half of all the vehicles on the road will be electric.”
