MOOSE CREEK — The Eastern Ontario Agri-Food Network’s (EOAN) lobbying of the City of Cornwall and the United Counties of SDG has paid off.
The organization, which promotes the development of the local agri-food sector, announced on March 9 that for the first time in its 10-year history, it had received funding commitments from all three municipal governments in the region — Cornwall, SDG and the United Counties of Prescott-Russell.

“The City of Cornwall and SDG have each decided to fund the EOAN at a rate of $25,000 each per year, and to each send a delegate to our board of directors,” said EOAN executive director Tom Manley.
