Easter Sunday messages similar with message of hope

FREMONT - For many churches in Sandusky County, this week's message of the resurrection of Jesus Christ may be the perfect message as the state tries to get out from under COVID-19.
Christians celebrate the day as the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after he died on the cross.
St. John's Lutheran Church
Pastor Matt Wheeler said Easter Sunday will be similar to last year when the COVID-19 pandemic took away the church's opportunity to celebrate the event.
This year, while streaming on the church's Facebook Live feed, Wheeler said his message will mirror that of what families have been dealing with through the past year: Loss.
