TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Some good news for an East Texas winery as they’re back in business. The bad news: They’ll have to do it with fewer grapes.
The monster snowstorm and freeze of February had workers at Los Pinos Winery in Camp County on edge, waiting for the Spring bloom.
Workers at Los Pinos had watched for nearly a month to see how much of their vineyard might have been lost to the February freeze.
“It will be a light year for the grape harvest this year. You know if we lost plants it would take about three years after we replant to get a good crop,” said managing partner Perry Wilson.
