A Mutual Aid Organizer
Samantha Davis, an
organizer with East of the River Mutual Aid, is still very much committed to the cause. While the network formed in direct response to the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, organizers have adapted to the needs of their community over the last 12 months and responded to co-occurring crises from the uprising against police brutality and anti-Black racism to everyday gun violence.
