Eagle Season Kicks Off In The Riverbend | Alton Daily News

It’s now the start of Eagle Season in the Riverbend. The majestic birds that have inspired generations of Americans can be seen in many hot spots, particularly near the bluffs along the Great River Road.
To kick off Eagle Season the Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau hosted another addition of their annual Alton Audubon Eagle Festival yesterday. This year the event had to be held virtually due to COVID concerns.
