'We wanted him forever': Family remembers Ramon Archuleta as a kindhearted man

The shooting suspect was identified by police as Alfonso Rodriguez, 32, who is charged with first degree murder and tampering with evidence related to the shooting. Rodriguez is also charged with several felonies unrelated to the Archuleta's death.
Las Cruces-Doña Ana County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that helps police locate Rodriguez and his girlfriend, Leanna Herrera, 32, who may be accompanying him.
Police are asking members of the community to call 911 if they have information on the whereabouts of Rodriguez or Herrera. Anonymous tips can be made by calling Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477
