Axle, 3, the boy who went missing from his home in Tolaga Bay yesterday, was found around 3km from his home and "wanting his mum" this afternoon, Tairāwhiti Area Commander Inspector Sam Aberahama said.
He said it was a very emotional moment for the family and those who volunteered when Axle was reunited with his family.
