You know the intifada failed did not get what the palestinians want to what hamas wanted and its very important as you note to note that the policies are not a monolith like any group and theres a lot of internal politics at play as well between fatah and hamas the west bank and gaza its a very complicated situation but there are democratic options we have to remember that the four hundred thousand or so palestinians living in jerusalem most of them in East Jerusalem they are more or less not citizens of israel so they cant vote nationally but they are more or less mostly residents of jerusalem which means they do have municipal Voting Rights they have boycotted elections ever since like sixty seven seeing it as a tool as an extension of the israeli state that they see as the enemy but they are there at least theoretically one democratic option could be to participate in elections and with forty percent of the drizzle population being arab being palestinian and israeli that can theoretically have a very very big impact i was roussillon israel it as a whole what do you think the people who are saying that the two state solution is dead do you think that theyre banking on a one state solution one day with the i guess with the with the arabs the palestinians just forever boycotting the democratic process is that what theyre thinking you know i wouldnt begin to venture into into into the minds of people who dont see peace as an option are not trying to push for some kind of some kind of peaceful solution because the options dont look good for any side for anyone involved with with birth rates the way they are on the arab side not looking good for people who believe in a jewel.
