Last summer the boathouse which is home to the Duluth Rowing Club was even quieter than normal. So to make up for that the Duluth Rowing Club (DRC) is making some changes. In 2020 they were only allowed to teach a limited master class, but now they are happy to announce that their Junior Program (for ages 13-18) is returning this year.
Coach Henri Laliberte said to WDIO:
This season the team is deliberately focusing on not only on coaching current rowers, but introducing brand new people to the sport. In the evenings on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as Saturday mornings, we're going to be holding a learn to row class for people with no experience, It's going to be from the bottom up, from stroke one to potentially racing down later in the summer.
