After an announcement made by Gov. Tim Walz Thursday, the 11:00 p.m. curfew for Minnesota bars and restaurants is no longer active.
Some places are shifting their schedules right way, like The Reef in Duluth that changed their closing time back to 2:00 a.m. immediately.
"After 138 days in 2020 being closed and opening on January 11th we finally get to stay open past 11 o'clock and that gives us 3 extra hours of serving,” happily explained Reef owner Dan Landgren.
He went on to say that his team was happy to quickly adjust to the new schedule because it meant they got their old hours back.
