After a long 16 months of being closed, the fire stations in Duluth are going to reopen to the public on August 1st.
"We'll have tours, school groups, other community events where we're out in the public. National Night Out is coming up. We hope to reinstitute our school programs in October, for Fire Prevention Month," shared Chief Shawn Krizaj.
He said people have been asking when they can come back. "We always throw in a little bit of fire safety and fire prevention on the tours. The kids see the trucks and meet the firefighters," he added.
