Duke wins on final-play FG to top Wake Forest, 24-21

Duke had the right response after trailing for large chunks of Thursday night’s game. Todd Pelino kicked a 26-yard field goal on the game’s final play and the Blue Devils, despite using a third-string quarterback, beat Wake Forest 24-21. “Hopefully this will put to bed all the talk about whether this team will respond,” Duke coach Mike Elko said.
