The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh today, visiting an Air Cadet squadron to honour the 63 years he served as Air Commodore-in-Chief of the Air Training Corps.
The couple smiled proudly as cadets raised their hats and gave a rousing three cheers in memory of Prince Philip.
The Royal family remains in mourning following the Duke's death but the Queen gave the Cambridges special permission to visit the C282 (East Ham) Squadron in East London, in honour of her husband.
