“He basically just said that we need to be on guard, we need to be advised on how to stay safe and that a crime prevention officer would come to the house. My number would be highlighted at Coolock Garda Station and if I rang at any time of the day or night, a car would be sent straight down.
The woman told listeners that she lives in fear every day and fears for her and her 21-year-old son’s safety.
She continued: “I just live with my son. There’s no man who’s 30 years in the prison service living at my address.
