Drunk and disorderly woman assaulted police officer
A WOMAN has been convicted of assaulting a police officer and being drunk and disorderly in public.
Nicole Rebecca Chadwick was drunk in Barrow's Cavendish Street on June 6.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge and also admitted assaulting police officer Phoebe Mallinson on the same day when she appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
Chadwick, of Farm Street in Barrow, was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £100 compensation for the assault and fined and was fined £100 for the other offence.
