Drug take back event planned Friday and Saturday

There are two collection sites available 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. They are: 
Harry S. Truman VA Hospital, 800 Hospital Drive, in Columbia;
University of Missouri Student Center, 901 Rollins Road in Columbia. 
Five collection sites will be available 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. They are: 
Ashland Police Department, 601 E. Broadway, in Ashland;
Centralia Police Department, 114 S. Rollins, in Centralia;
Hallsville Police Department, 202 Highway 124 East, in Hallsville; 
Hickman High School, north entrance, at 1104 N. Providence Road, in Columbia; 
Rock Bridge High School, north entrance, at 4303 S. Providence Road, in Columbia. 
The Boone County Sheriff's Department has joined forces with the Youth Community Coalition and other county law enforcement angencies for this project. The event coincides with the National Drug Take Back event sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
