A MAN caught driving a vehicle on a key Weymouth route after taking cocaine has been banned from driving.
Connor Duncan, aged 25, was behind the wheel of a Renault Captur on the A354 between Jurassic Roundabout and Veasta Roundabout on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
He was stopped by police officers who discovered he was without a driving licence or insurance.
Duncan also underwent a drugs test, which saw he had cocaine in his blood. A reading saw he had 129 microgrammes in his blood, which exceeded the legal limit.
Duncan, of Waterford Road, Liverpool, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle without a valid insurance and driving licence, as well as driving a vehicle under the influence of a drug above the legal limt at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court.
