Driver 'very lucky' following crash between ute and train

UPDATE 9.20am: A driver has been called “very lucky” after his LandCruiser was written off following a crash between a ute and train near Rosella.
Senior Sergeant Trevor Robson said it may take hours for a rail tracks to be cleared following the incident at 6.40am.
Senior Sergeant Robson said a young man was driving the LandCruiser west on Sarina-Homebush Road near Rosella when he collided with the train.

“Boom gates and lights were acting at the time,” Senior Sergeant Robson said.
