Driver killed in Platteville following crash between car, semi

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — One person is dead following a crash in Grant County on Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to the intersection of Business Highway 151 and Commercial Drive at around 10:15 a.m. for a report of an accident involving a semi truck and car.
A Facebook post from Platteville police said the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering significant injuries in the crash. The semi driver was taken to a hospital for treatment and was later released.
The crash remains under investigation, and the names of those involved have not been released at this time.
