Hollie Charlotte Slaney admitted drink-driving when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford on January 20.
Prosecutor Ralph Robyns Landricombe said police had been waiting at a traffic light in Hereford's Stonebow Road at around 12.55am on December 20 when they saw a car pull out of a junction on the other side of the main road and head towards Aylestone Hill.
"They thought the car had gone through a red light," Mr Robyns Landricombe said.
"They followed the car, which was swerving from one lane into another across white lines, into Bodenham Road."
Slaney was pulled over and was arrested after failing a roadside breath test.
