DRBC to take action on natural gas fracking

WEST TRENTON, NJ – The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) will consider their long-awaited final action on hydraulic fracturing activities related to natural gas drilling, at a special public meeting, Thursday, February 25 at 10:30 a.m.
That meeting will be conducted as a Zoom webinar. The public may also choose to attend by way of telephone, rather than using a computer.
The DRBC Commissioners are considering the DRBC's proposed amendments to the Administrative Manual and Special Regulation on the topic of fracking, as well as additional clarifying amendments. These were published for public comment on November 30, 2017. The extensive public comment period closed on March 30, 2018.
