Dr Winston McKenzie: Why I was not able to stand in the London Mayoral Elections
Several people have contacted me recently, concerned as to why I am not standing in the London Mayoral Elections.  Many of you will know I have been planning to stand as a Mayoral Candidate for over one year, due to the 2020 national elections being cancelled.
I am naturally dismayed at my enforced restriction to run as a Political Party, and indeed as a Party Candidate for the Office of Mayor of London 2021.  
I have been forced to stand down.
In October 2019, we received communication that our Party had successfully completed its Annual Registration and considered compliant with PPERA. (
