Political parties need to demonstrate greater commitment towards promoting women candidates in Politics, says Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete.
He expressed this view while officiating the ‘Not the Cost and Think 10 Session’ today.
“The society needs to embrace women candidates, and we have observed that women themselves do not support or vote for women candidates which is an unfortunate tragedy,” Dr Waqainabete said.
