Downeaster reports record-breaking ridership in 2019, partly due to expansion of Brunswick, Freeport schedule

Officials are still moving ahead with the Coastal Connection pilot extending service from Brunswick to Rockland, but the sale of the Central Maine and Quebec Railway has delayed the project yet again.
