DOVER —The town's Democratic Committee reported issues with two voting machines located at the Sacred Heart Parish Center during Tuesday's primary elections.
Three voters from Ward 2 - District 1 were instructed to vote in another district after a machine failed to work, said the committee in a letter issued to the Morris County Board of Elections on Tuesday. The group also said one voter was not able to vote for their candidates on a Ward 2 - District 2 machine.
“We urge that this practice ceases immediately today, and voters of the 2-1 district are allowed to vote in assigned machines for the district,” read the letter written by Edward Correa, chair of the Democratic Committee and Ward 3 alderman.
