Dominic Cummings took aim at Keir Starmer over Labour's catastrophic defeat in Hartlepool today in a rambling Twitter diatribe that also criticsed his former boss Boris Johnson.
The former Downing Street Svengali gloated that the Opposition leader had spent a year in charge 'without a message to the country' as the party lost a seat it has held for half a century.
Mr Cummings suggested that if Labour had a leader '80 per cent as good at comms as (Tony) Blair and focused on actual reality' the party would win the next general election 'easily', but added: 'They don't/won't.'
