Domestic Violence Suspect Attempts Getaway In San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO, CA — A man with a domestic violence restraining order against him was arrested this week in San Jacinto after violating the order and attempting to flee from deputies, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.
Chance Morris, 33, was taken into custody around 4:35 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Garrett Way and Arroyo Viejo Drive after he led a chase that lasted about three hours.
Deputies with the San Jacinto station received a call about Morris around 1:30 p.m. that day after he showed up at a home in the 1800 block of Browning Court, despite an active domestic violence court order barring him from being at the residence, according to the sheriff's department.
