BALD EAGLE — Plans to construct a new Dollar General store in Snyder Township received a favorable review by Blair County Planning Commission members Thursday.
Plans call for construction of a 9,100 square-foot Dollar General retail store on a mostly vacant 1.377-acre site along Tyrone Pike, also known as Route 350.
Along with the proposed structure, paved parking, landscaping, lighting and stormwater controls are proposed, said Jamie L. Klink, regional planner.
The proposed parking will contain 30 parking spaces, including two Americans with Disabilities Act accessible spaces. The proposed amount of spaces will be less than the 36 spaces required by Snyder Township for a development of this size and type.
