Dog attack hot spots in New South Wales
This is the map which plots where 4359Â dog attacks, hundreds of them deemed serious, took place in New South Wales over the last year.
The Central Coast Local Government Area ranked top of the list, with 252 attacks, ahead of Leeton in the Riverina with 251 and 214 in Wollongong, south of Sydney.
9News.com.au reviewed 12 months of dog attack statistics for each LGA in NSW, from the Office of Local Government data.
There were more than 4000 dog attacks across NSW in the last year.(Nine)
