Doctors report sharp nationwide spike in conjunctivitis cases

Dr. Harshwardhan Ghorpade, Cornea, Cataract & Refractive Surgeon, Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi-A Fortis Network hospital said that he is seeing rise in both viral and bacterial conjunctivitis in the last couple of weeks. Along with conjunctivitis, there has been a steady rise in seasonal flu cases too, doctors said.
