Disgraced officer could be called in Whiskey Au Go Go Inquest
A disgraced former New South Walespolice officer could be called to give evidence at the coronial inquest into the deadly Whiskey Au Go Go firebombing that began in Brisbane today.Â
It's also been suggested that multiple people were likely involved in the fatal arson incident that killed 15 people in 1973, other than the convicted pair of John Stuart and James Finch.Â
Counsel assisting the coroner Stephen Keim SC said one of those is believed to be convicted murderer Vincent O'Dempsey, with a "significant" collection of evidence tying him to the arson.Â
