The Dinthill Technical High School Alumni Association Jamaica has partnered with the Digicel Foundation to implement a full digitisation of the institution's compound in Linstead, St Catherine.
The contract, valued at just under J$5 million, was signed with network provider, Nextech Network Solutions Limited, on Monday. It will see the provision of a fibre backbone network to provide internet connectivity across the entire compound.
President of Dinthill's local-based alumni association, Donovan Betancourt hailed this partnership as pivotal in the development of the institution and expressed his gratitude to the Digicel Foundation for its continued support of the development of educational institutions in Jamaica and across the Caribbean.
