Gordo Burger, a specialty hamburger restaurant, is planning to open at 2301 S. Howell Ave. in the former home of Little Duck Kitchen — the catering space run by the owners of Odd Duck until it closed in September.
The new restaurant comes from
Marwan Otallah, owner of Milwaukee Classic Pizza (3929 S. Howell Ave.) The 5,867 square foot building will serve customers in the first floor and on the patio, according to a business application filed with the city. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and until midnight on weekends. The city still has to approve the permitting and licenses for the business.
