THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Northern Mindanao has issued an advisory instructing local government units (LGUs) to do extensive contact tracing to prevent the surge of Covid-19 cases like what happened in NCR.
Regional Director Arnel Agabe of DILG-Northern Mindanao said the contact tracing should be done to include identifying close contacts of not only the Covid-positive patients but also individuals exposed by the suspect and probable cases.
"Katong mga close contacts sa mga Covid-positive patients, ang ilahang mga close contacts pud would be included in the contact tracing and immediately informing them also that there's a need for them to isolate themselves," Agabe said during a virtual press conference.
