A FINANCIAL education programme popular with Keighley-district schools has moved online.
Yorkshire Building Society has launched six web-based lessons as part of its Money Minds initiative – a free programme of activities designed to help children learn about managing finances.
Normally sessions would be staged in schools by society staff, through a volunteering programme. But due to lockdown, resources have been produced digitally.
Two Key Stage 1 Money Minds lessons on the topics of Keeping Money Safe and Wants and Needs have been released, together with Key Stage 2 sessions on Vacation Venture and Project Party to teach young people about the importance of budgeting.
