Did the IU authorities take BCL assaulters' side?

After three days of no action, the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia only took steps against BCL leaders suspected of torturing a student when the High Court directed it. Probe committees were formed, but with the university authorities so reluctant to stand against the alleged attackers, will BCL ever stop torturing students?
